At Circle M Safari Park, kids discover a world of adventure, imagination, and hands-on animal fun! Children can meet and feed friendly animals in our petting zoo barn, get up close with exotic species on our exciting safari wagon ride, and explore our walk-through exhibits filled with unique creatures from around the world. Little ones love watching the zebras, camels, kangaroos, antelope, capybaras, porcupines, and more as they learn fun facts and experience wildlife like never before.

Families can enjoy our outdoor picnic areas, take photos with their favorite animals, and browse the Circle M gift shop for stuffed animals, toys, shirts, drinks, and souvenirs. From seasonal events to special encounters, there’s always something new happening at Circle M Safari Park—making it the perfect place for kids to learn, play, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Circle M Safari Park Rules & Regulations

To ensure the safety of our guests, staff, and animals, please follow all park rules during your visit:

1. No Pets Allowed
   For the safety of our animals and yours, outside pets are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.
2. Do Not Feed Animals Anything Except Feed Purchased From Us
   Per USDA regulations, only approved animal feed bought at Circle M Safari Park may be given to the animals.
3. No Taunting, Chasing, or Harassing the Animals
   Please treat all animals with respect. Any teasing, yelling at, hitting, or harassing animals is strictly forbidden.
4. Do Not Enter Animal Enclosures
   Guests must stay outside all fences, gates, and enclosures unless participating in a staff-led encounter.
5. Supervise Children at All Times
   Children must remain with a parent or guardian. Running, climbing, or unsafe behavior is not permitted.
6. Follow Staff Instructions
   For your safety and the safety of the animals, always listen to and follow directions given by Circle M staff.
7. Remain Seated During the Safari Wagon Ride
   Keep hands, arms, and feed cups inside the wagon at all times.
8. Smoking and Vaping Only Permitted in the Parking Lot
   Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere else on the property, especially near animals or buildings.
9. Do Not Litter
   Please dispose of trash properly to help keep our animals safe and our park beautiful.

📅 Circle M Safari Park Hours 🐾

We are open to the public March through mid-November every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM! Come enjoy the safari wagon ride, petting zoo barn, walk-through exhibits, and all your favorite animals.

We are located at 117 Doris Dr, Shelby, NC, conveniently one mile off Hwy 74.

At Circle M Safari Park, we proudly welcome schools, churches, daycares, summer programs, and community groups for unforgettable educational field trips. We book most large groups Monday through Thursday when the park is closed to the general public, but we also accommodate smaller groups of 20–50 guests on weekends. Our field trip rate is $12 per person—students, teachers, and chaperones included—and we offer one free teacher admission for every 15 students. Every field trip includes animal feed for the safari wagon ride, as well as access to our walk-through exhibits and petting zoo barn. Groups are welcome to enjoy lunch in our covered picnic areas, and we also offer an on-site gift shop featuring stuffed animals, T-shirts, drinks, and limited snacks.
